7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Westchester Library System

Event Details

Mark Nowak, a writer and founding director of the Worker Writers School, presents a selection of haiku written by “frontline workers” during the Covid-19 crisis. These “coronavirus haiku” convey moments of protest, solace, wonder, certainty, love, and strife.

Viewers will leave the event with a more detailed and complex understanding of the lives of "frontline workers" during the COVID crises. They will also see and hear the rich literary history being created about this most difficult time in all our lives.
